Anyway, I love the ability of Asian dramas to take the most ridiculous concept and treat it as though it were totally plausible. Case in point: Shima Shima, about a woman who opens a shop where she rents out young men as living hug pillows (literally sleeping companions, no sex). One of her employees is her ex-husband’s little brother Gai (played by the adorable Miura Shohei) whose feelings towards Shio are quite obviously more than brotherly. This show is ridiculous, and this is the second time I’m watching it (now with subtitles!).
