Is it just me or does this pearly paint seem a little tackier than the standard matte paint used on these? He seemed to “crack” a bit more than average when I was loosening him up fresh out of the box.
Since ryoflame beat me to the bum shots (DAMN YOU RYOFLAME! *shakes fist*), here’s yet another view of Otoishi Akira.

(It should be noted that I consider Labyrinth to be a formative film during my puberty and anything reminiscent of Jareth has a special place in my, er, heart.)
Despite the kvetching in certain circles, I love the new Pink Rohan. If you disregard Kars’ hot pink hair, Rohan here is the pinky-pink-est figure I own. He looks smashing (and he also goes well with the scooter I got recently).

Look who I unboxed today: The Kars SAS figure! He’s beautiful but there was never any doubt.
One minor quibble though: His full-body “spray-on tan” is very easily flaked. My figure now has a little light spot on his chin after only a half-hour of play, and it wasn’t even that rough!
P.S. Why “Kars-with-a-K” is the accepted spelling I don’t understand because the band he’s named after is The Cars… *scratches head*
At first I was gonna post this on New Years Eve except with Jotaro gripping a bottle of champagne in one hand but, surprise surprise, the craft store was completely sold out of miniature bottles on Dec.28.
Then I had a heck of a time getting them positioned in something even vaguely approximating an embrace. Neither wants to stay attached to his stand so I ended up just throwing Jotaro on top of Kakyoin and letting him support him.
Then I accidentally took this pic with the flash and almost deleted it until I decided that, despite the harsh shadows, I like the way it created a semi-halo of rainbow stars in the background. And I felt like giving up by that point anyway. Voilà.
